Felisha Wong’s narration is nothing short of stellar; her ability to convey Alejandra’s internal monologues with genuine emotion elevates this already powerful story. The narrative jumps seamlessly between different settings, from the hallowed halls of an elite school to the vibrant streets of Queens, creating a vivid tapestry that listeners will find hard to put down. While the pacing can sometimes feel rushed in parts, Park’s writing is so engaging that these minor issues are easily overlooked. One critique might be that some of the secondary characters could benefit from more development to add depth to the story.
