Keira Grace delivers an outstanding performance as Allison, bringing a mix of vulnerability and strength to this complex character. Her narration is engaging from the first sentence, making it easy to lose yourself in the eerie atmosphere of medieval Europe. The plot twists are masterfully executed, leaving you guessing until the very end. While the pacing is occasionally uneven—some sections feel rushed while others drag slightly—the overall experience remains captivating. A few minor characters could have been developed further for better integration into the story, but these are minor quibbles in an otherwise stellar audiobook.
