Kate Warner brings Josie Tucker to life in a way that feels both familiar and invigorating. Her performance not only captures the dry wit of the protagonist but also imbues each character with distinctiveness, making the dialogues pop off the page. The pacing is brisk, keeping listeners on edge as the mysteries unfold. However, at times, the humor can veer into overkill, almost overshadowing the plot's more subtle elements. Nonetheless, 'Dead Man on Campus' and 'Full Slab Dead' remain a joy to listen to, offering a perfect blend of sharp wit, intricate plotting, and compelling character development.
