Karen Cass’s narration is nothing short of exceptional; her ability to convey Callie’s vulnerability and strength with poignancy and clarity elevates the storytelling. The pacing is just right, allowing each character’s story to unfold naturally without dragging. Yet, there are moments where the plot could have benefitted from a slight tightening – particularly in the subplot involving the estate’s mysterious past. Nonetheless, this audiobook remains a compelling listen that immerses you deeply into the heart of Rowan Vale. A delightful exploration of family and the ties that bind us.
