Anna Dewdney’s own narration brings warmth to every word in this short yet sweet audiobook. Her voice is both gentle and reassuring, perfectly capturing Llama’s sniffles and sneezes as he stays home from school with a stuffy nose. The story moves at a perfect pace, balancing humor and tender moments without ever feeling rushed. While the narrative is straightforward, Anna Dewdney’s touch gives it extra depth and character. A minor critique would be that some of the rhymes could be more pronounced for younger listeners to follow along. Still, this audiobook is an excellent introduction to Llama Llama stories for both children and their grown-up companions.
