Bill Meisle’s narration is nothing short of exceptional. His voice carries an unmistakable gravitas that adds layers of depth to Twain's storytelling, making even the most familiar passages feel fresh. The pacing is impeccable—slowing down during introspective moments and picking up speed in the more dramatic sections. However, there are occasional pauses where Meisle’s performance might slightly overshadow Ward’s text, drawing attention away from some of the quieter narrative threads. Nonetheless, this audiobook remains a compelling listen that celebrates Twain's genius through both word and voice.
