Cara Firestone’s narration is nothing short of exceptional, making every moment of this audiobook feel personal and intimate. Her tone is measured yet passionate, which perfectly complements Gelinas’ detailed historical analysis. The pacing is just right – not too fast that you miss the nuances, but not too slow that it drags. One critique I have is the occasional lack of background music or sound effects to enhance certain scenes; however, this does little to detract from the overall quality. 'Movement' is a must-listen for anyone interested in urban history and policy, offering both depth and insight into New York City’s remarkable journey.
