I went into this audiobook expecting a juicy, over-the-top drama, and what I got was something far more nuanced and thought-provoking. Kristin Price's narration is the perfect complement to Dina Santorelli's writing, bringing a level of depth and complexity to the characters that's hard to put down. One thing that really stood out to me was the way the author handled the aftermath of a major plot twist – it's handled with a level of sensitivity and care that's not always easy to find in psychological thrillers. However, I did find myself wishing for a bit more resolution in the climax of the story. It feels a bit abrupt, and I had to replay the final chapters to make sure I didn't miss anything. Still, this is a minor quibble in what is otherwise a riveting listen. Recommended for fans of twistsy psychological dramas and character-driven storytelling.
