Jeremy Arthur's narration is the standout feature of this audiobook. His ability to convey the raw, visceral passion between characters without overdoing it adds depth and authenticity. The pacing is just right—neither too fast nor slow—which allows listeners to fully immerse themselves in Leonidas’s journey from a century-old dragon shifter to a modern-day lover. While some might find the historical context heavy at times, the blend of fantasy and reality is executed so well that it enhances rather than detracts from the experience. One minor critique: occasionally, the narrative's focus on dialogue can feel slightly disjointed, but this doesn't overshadow the overall engaging storytelling.
