Paddington Takes the Test

Hugh Bonneville delivers a performance that is as charming as Paddington himself. His deep, slightly timorous voice perfectly captures the Bear’s innocent yet adventurous spirit. The story unfolds at a delightful pace, allowing listeners to fully immerse themselves in the various misadventures without feeling rushed. While the plot twists might feel a bit predictable for older children, they are executed with enough surprise and wit to keep younger ears captivated. One minor critique is that some of the dialogue could benefit from more varied intonation to enhance the humor; nonetheless, this audiobook remains an enjoyable listen for fans of Paddington Bear.
