Pete the Kitty and the Case of the Hiccups

James Fouhey brings Pete the Kitty's world to life with such warmth and playfulness that it’s hard not to laugh along with the little cat. The narration is fluid and energetic, making each character distinct and memorable—especially the grumpy but lovable Grumpy Toad. Despite its brevity, the audiobook maintains a steady pace that keeps listeners hooked until the last minute. However, at times, some of the humor might require a bit more context for younger children to fully grasp. Nonetheless, it’s an ideal introduction to early reading and problem-solving in a fun, animal-centric setting.
