Positively Fifth Street

I went into Positively Fifth Street expecting a dry, analytical look at the world of poker, but what I got was a gripping, page-turning narrative that had me hooked from the start. McManus's writing is both witty and insightful, and his narration brings the story to life with a level of engagement that's hard to find in most audiobooks. My only criticism is that the pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, particularly in the second half of the book, where the narrative starts to feel a bit disjointed. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent production. One of the standout aspects of this audiobook is McManus's ability to balance humor and darkness, making even the most intense moments feel oddly relatable.
