Radiant Heat

Tamsin Carroll’s narration in Radiant Heat is a revelation; she brings such vitality to each character that it's hard not to get swept up in their stories. The pacing is masterfully managed, building tension with every turn of the page or, rather, every click of the download bar. However, some scenes feel a bit too drawn out, leaving me yearning for more action. The mystery surrounding the dead woman found after the wildfire adds layers to an already compelling narrative, but it sometimes feels like the investigation stalls mid-burn. Nonetheless, Radiant Heat is a potent blend of atmospheric tension and character development, making it a standout audiobook in its genre.
