Ray Porter’s performance is the standout here, bringing raw emotion and urgency to each character’s voice. The narration perfectly balances the adrenaline-fueled action with moments of intense psychological tension. Maberry’s writing is sharp and unflinching; he doesn’t shy away from graphic details or moral ambiguity. However, the constant pace can feel overwhelming at times, leaving little room for emotional respite. Nonetheless, ‘Rage’ is a gripping audiobook that will have you on the edge of your seat throughout its 17 hours.
