Rasputin's Shadow

Richard Ferrone’s performance is nothing short of stellar. His portrayal of Sean Reilly strikes just the right balance between professionalism and vulnerability, while seamlessly switching between contemporary New York and the eerie, shadowy corridors of imperial Russia. The story is a masterclass in pacing, expertly balancing intense action sequences with quieter, more introspective moments that add depth to both characters and setting. However, at times, the dense historical context might overwhelm listeners unfamiliar with Russian history, requiring them to do some background reading to fully appreciate the plot's complexities.
