As a huge fan of campfire horror, I was excited to dive into Rusty Wilson's Twelve Pack of Bigfoot Campfire Stories - and I'm thrilled to say that it did not disappoint. Richard Henzel's narration is, in a word, excellent. He brings a sense of warmth and comfort to each story, even as he expertly ratchets up the tension and suspense. My only criticism is that a few of the stories feel a bit repetitive in their themes and plot points - but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding collection. One standout story that really grabbed me was 'The Sasquatch of Silver Lake', which features a hauntingly atmospheric setting and a genuinely chilling plot twist. Henzel's narration really shines in this one, capturing the sense of unease and disorientation that defines the story.
