Skinny Dip

Stephen Hoye’s narration adds an extra layer of grit to Carl Hiaasen’s already thrilling narrative, making each character distinct and their dialogue crisp and engaging. His ability to inject menace into casual conversations or turn a smooth criminal into a convincing antagonist is nothing short of impressive. The story zips along, but it's the vivid descriptions of South Florida's unique landscape that keep you hooked. Unfortunately, some of the plot threads feel a bit too convoluted at times, especially in the latter part. Despite this, Skinny Dip remains an entertaining and captivating listen, perfect for fans of dark humor and suspenseful crime stories.
