The Anxious Lives of Edwin Miller

I was hooked from the very beginning of this audiobook, and Luke Daniels' narration was a significant contributor to that. His delivery is pitch-perfect, capturing Edwin's anxiety and desperation with a subtlety that's both poignant and unnerving. I found myself completely absorbed in the story, eager to unravel the mystery alongside Edwin. One of my favorite aspects of this audiobook is the way Inmon explores the relationship between fear and reality. The author's use of the supernatural as a metaphor for anxiety is both clever and unsettling, leaving the listener wondering what's real and what's just Edwin's paranoia. If I have any criticisms, it's that the pacing can be a bit uneven at times, with some sections feeling a tad rushed. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise exceptional audiobook that's sure to leave listeners on the edge of their seats. Production-wise, the audio quality is top-notch, with crystal-clear sound that immerses the listener in the world of Middle Falls. The editing is seamless, with no jarring transitions or awkward pauses. Overall, this is an exceptional audiobook that's not to be missed.
