The Descent

Laurel Lefkow's narration in The Descent elevates this audiobook above its already stellar written counterpart. Adair, however, remains a challenge for even the most skilled narrator, and Lefkow nearly falters here, occasionally sounding too flat to convey the full menace of this formidable opponent. Despite this minor issue, the rest of the audiobook is nothing short of brilliant, offering a captivating blend of psychological drama and spine-chilling moments. Listeners will find themselves on edge from start to finish, rooting for Lanore in her final stand against Adair.
