The Girl in the Locked Room

Rachel Dulude’s narration is the standout feature of 'The Girl in the Locked Room.' Her ability to modulate her voice between fear and curiosity makes every whisper and rustle feel real. The pacing is just right, building tension without overwhelming the listener. Jules’ character development is particularly well-navigated; we see her transform from a scared child into someone who must face her fears. However, the story could have benefited from more exploration of the room’s history to make its supernatural elements feel more grounded. Despite this minor critique, Dulude and Hahn create an unforgettable listening experience that will keep young and old listeners on edge.
