The pacing is impeccable—slow enough to delve deeply into the psychological impact of living in a totalitarian regime, yet brisk enough to keep the listener hooked until the very end. Specific moments, such as the detailed description of escape routes, are vividly portrayed, making the audience feel the fear and hope of each decision. However, some sections felt slightly rushed, particularly when recounting the more mundane aspects of daily life in captivity, which might have benefited from a bit more detail for added realism.
