Editor's Review ★★★★

AudioBook Atlas

As I listened to The Henchmen of Zenda, I was charmed by the way KJ Charles wove together themes of loyalty, duty, and forbidden love. Ferguson's narration added a rich texture to the story, bringing out the nuances of the characters' relationships and motivations. One of the standout aspects of this audiobook is its pacing, which moves seamlessly from lighthearted banter to tense, suspenseful moments. Where the story falters is in its somewhat abrupt conclusion, which feels a bit rushed compared to the more leisurely development of the preceding plot. Nevertheless, this is a small quibble in an otherwise engaging and entertaining listen. Overall, I'd highly recommend The Henchmen of Zenda to fans of historical fantasy and LGBTQ+ romance.
