Olivia Vinall’s performance is a standout feature of this audiobook, infusing the characters with life through subtle vocal nuances. Her portrayal of Maudie Seagrave, in particular, is both empathetic and inspiring, capturing her protagonist's growth from a naive young woman to a confident individual. The pacing is deliberate but never dull, allowing each character’s story to unfold naturally. However, some might find the slow progression through minor characters slightly frustrating. Despite this, the narrative is ultimately a rewarding journey into a world where women’s voices are finally heard.
