I found 'Under the Same Stars' to be a captivating listen from start to finish. January LaVoy's voice is perfectly suited for the more introspective protagonist, while Jeremy Carlisle Parker and Major Curda bring depth to the supporting characters, creating a rich tapestry of voices that enhance the story’s narrative layers. The pacing is just right, allowing each character's journey to unfold naturally without feeling rushed. However, some quieter moments could have been made even more poignant with slightly different inflections from LaVoy. Despite this minor quibble, the audiobook remains a profound and beautifully narrated exploration of young love and coming-of-age in Paris.
