Her delivery is steady yet intense, drawing listeners into each gruesome narrative. The pacing is masterful; it's just right to maintain suspense without overwhelming the listener. The book includes both well-known and lesser-known cases, such as the tragic story of Elizabeth Strout’s sister, which adds a personal touch to the dark history. However, some of the less shocking stories felt a bit repetitive, perhaps due to their more common nature. Nonetheless, for those who love true crime, this audiobook is an excellent listen.
