Ron McLarty delivers an outstanding performance as Dirk Pitt, his voice bringing the characters to life with such intensity that you can almost feel the heat from the ship’s fire. The narrative is a relentless rush of events, making every minute count in this high-stakes thriller. While some might find the technical details a bit overwhelming, they add authenticity and depth to the story. The pacing is perfect for keeping listeners hooked until the very end. However, a few overly long sections on engine technology could have been trimmed for a smoother flow.
