What the Ladybird Heard

Alexander Armstrong's narration in 'What the Ladybird Heard' is nothing short of stellar, bringing a vibrant energy to each line and character. His Scottish accent adds a delightful warmth, almost as if he’s sharing the story with his own grandchildren. The rhyming verses are so cleverly crafted that they’ll stick in your mind long after you’ve listened, making for excellent recitation practice or just plain fun reading aloud. However, while the humor and pacing are perfect, some of the more complex plot points might leave very young listeners a bit confused. Despite this minor hiccup, it’s an audiobook that will certainly keep the older children intrigued and provide plenty of giggles for all.
