What We Say and How We Say It Matter

As an editor, I was struck by the way Peter Coates's calm and measured tone perfectly complements Anderson's ideas. Coates's narration is never showy, but it's consistently engaging and easy to follow, making even the more complex concepts feel accessible. One of the things that really stood out to me was Anderson's emphasis on the importance of language in setting a positive classroom tone - his many anecdotes about teachers who have made this shift are particularly compelling. If I have a criticism, it's that the audiobook could have benefited from a clearer structure: at times, it feels a bit meandering. But overall, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent audiobook.
