Ghost Stories

Listening to Siri Hustvedt narrate her own work is an experience akin to eavesdropping on a deeply personal conversation. Her voice, warm and inviting, draws you in, making you feel like a confidante. But that's a small price to pay for the sheer pleasure of spending time in Hustvedt's company. Production-wise, it's minimalistic, with just Hustvedt's voice and the occasional ambient sound, which works perfectly for this kind of intimate listening experience.
