The pacing is where this audiobook shines and, occasionally, stumbles. The first hour hums with the energy of a whirlwind affair, but the suspense elements (a rival’s sabotage, a family secret) feel rushed in the final act, resolved almost too neatly for a story that otherwise thrives on ambiguity.
