High Moor is a gripping listen from start to finish. Barnes' narration is excellent, his ability to switch between accents and paces making each character distinct and engaging. The story is pacy, with a clever, intricate plot that keeps you guessing. Reynolds' take on werewolves is refreshing, and the gory, visceral descriptions are sure to please horror fans. My only critique is that some of the dialogue can feel a touch expositional at times, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook. If you're looking for a gritty, suspenseful werewolf thriller, High Moor is a must-listen.
