Ruth Urquhart’s performance in 'Kiss of the Vampire' is nothing short of stellar. Her portrayal of Jankyn McNachton is both brooding and passionate, perfectly matching the intensity of his character's inner turmoil. Efrica Callan comes across as strong and determined under Urquhart’s voice, lending a much-needed contrast to the darker vampire elements in the story. The pacing is spot-on; it manages to keep the listener engaged throughout without feeling rushed. However, some scenes feel slightly overwritten, which occasionally disrupts the flow of the narrative. Despite this minor critique, 'Kiss of the Vampire' remains a compelling listen, offering a fresh take on the vampire genre with heart and soul.
