I thoroughly enjoyed How to Ensnare a Highlander, thanks in large part to Nathaniel Black's engaging narration. He brings a sense of warmth and humor to the story, making it easy to become invested in the characters' lives. The pacing is well-handled, with a good balance of action and quieter moments. One of the standout aspects of the story is the strong-willed heroine, Lady Elizabet, who drives the plot forward with her determination and wit. My only minor quibble is that some of the supporting characters feel a bit underdeveloped, and I would have liked a bit more resolution on the subplot involving Elizabet's family. Overall, however, this is a delightful and engaging listen that fans of historical romance will enjoy.
