Wilder nails the Pyrosian cadence without overdoing the alien affectation, letting the humor and heart shine through. That said, the production hiccups in the final act—uneven volume levels during a tense medical scene—jolted me like a faulty hyperdrive. Still, it’s a minor blip in an otherwise stellar performance.
