Robinson's exploration of faith is profound, if sometimes heavy-handed. I found myself questioning my own beliefs alongside Jack. The production is simple, just Onofrietti's voice and the occasional sound effect, which works perfectly for this introspective tale. My only critique is that the ending feels a tad too neat, given the raw, unflinching realism of the rest of the book.
