Robyn Verne matches him beat for beat with a performance that’s understated but never flat—her quiet ache in flashback scenes wrecked me. That said, the pacing stumbles slightly in the middle third—there’s a stretch where the mystery hints feel repetitive, and a few secondary characters lack depth.
