I was thoroughly impressed by 'Kill It with Fire' from start to finish, and I think it's because Bellotti tackles the subject matter with a refreshing blend of humor and humility. Her writing is so clear and concise that I found myself speeding up (yes, speeding up an audiobook!) to see what she'd say next. One of the things that really stood out to me was her discussion of how legacy systems can be reimagined as 'vintage' assets – it's a concept that's both counterintuitive and beautiful. As I listened, I appreciated Koster's ability to convey the author's enthusiasm without coming across as over-the-top or overly dramatic. Her tone is perfect for this type of content: informative, engaging, and never too serious. If I'm being picky, I wish she'd done a bit more to differentiate between key terms and technical jargon – sometimes it was hard to tell what was what.
