Le Morte d'Arthur

Bill Homewood's narration is a standout feature of this audiobook. His ability to differentiate characters with unique voices and inflections makes the long listening hours fly by. The story itself is a rollercoaster of emotions, with moments of high chivalry and heroism balanced by political intrigue and tragedy. The pacing can feel slow at times, especially in the early sections, but the rich detail and vivid storytelling make up for it. I found myself wishing for a bit more editing in places, particularly in the repetitive descriptions of battles, but overall, this is a remarkable retelling of a classic tale.
