Lawrence XVII is top-notch, with a powerful and dynamic delivery that captures the gravity of the subject matter. He masterfully brings to life the real-life characters involved in this scandal, from the players to the NFL executives, with a range of emotions and vocal inflections that keep listeners engaged throughout the 14-hour audiobook. While some may find the subject matter depressing, I believe that League of Denial is an important listen for anyone interested in the dark side of sports and the impact it has on its players. The pacing and production quality are excellent, and I never felt bored or disengaged during my listening experience. One critique I have is that some of the more technical medical information may be difficult for non-experts to follow, but this is a minor issue in an otherwise outstanding audiobook.
