As an audiobook enthusiast, I devoured Leave No Trace in a single sitting, and I'm still reeling from the adrenaline-fueled ride. Susan Bennett's narration is top-notch, with a keen ear for pacing and a remarkable ability to convey the emotional nuances of the characters. Driscoll's writing is, as ever, a masterclass in plotting and suspense, with unexpected twists and turns that kept me guessing until the very end. My only quibble is that the supporting cast feels a tad underdeveloped – Meg's colleagues and allies are more like cardboard cutouts, lacking the depth and complexity that the main characters exhibit. Still, this is a minor complaint in what is otherwise a thrilling and immersive listen.
