AudioBook Atlas
As an avid fan of satire, I dove headfirst into "Make Russia Great Again" with high expectations – and I'm thrilled to say that Christopher Buckley delivers in spades. Gibson Frazier's narration is top-notch, effortlessly conveying the author's wicked humor and clever wordplay with a smooth, engaging delivery. One of the standout elements of the book is its masterful use of satire to skewer the excesses of the Trump era. From the over-the-top antics of Herb Nutterman to the absurdities of Trump's 'achievements', Buckley's wit is razor-sharp and unrelenting. If I have a quibble, it's that the pacing sometimes feels a tad uneven – certain sections feel a bit too long, while others zip by all too quickly. However, this is a minor nitpick in an otherwise superb audiobook that will leave you in stitches and maybe even make you think.
