Guzmán’s narration is a masterclass in restraint. He resists the urge to over-dramatize Sarmiento’s confrontational style, letting the text’s intensity breathe. That said, the production isn’t flawless. The pacing in Chapter 5 (“El Miedo como Brújula”) feels rushed, as if Guzmán’s trying to cram too much into a single exhale, and the abrupt transitions between exercises and theory can be jarring. Still, the audiobook’s raw honesty about failure (especially in Latin professional cultures) sets it apart.
