About This Audiobook

Missing the Rules is a heart-pounding, five-year-later romance that's as exhilarating as the game it's named after. Mariah Dietz weaves a tale of Lincoln and Emma, two former lovers who find themselves drawn back together, despite the rules they've set to keep apart. The audiobook is a delight, with Jameson Adams and Lyssa Browne delivering a dynamic dual narration that perfectly captures the tension and chemistry between the two protagonists. What sets this audiobook apart is its unique blend of sports drama and romantic tension, with a slow-burn that's as satisfying as a well-executed play. It's a must-listen for fans of contemporary romance with a sports twist.

Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

I was hooked from the very first chapter of Missing the Rules. The dual narration by Jameson Adams and Lyssa Browne is exceptional, with Adams' deep, gravelly voice perfectly capturing Lincoln's brooding intensity, and Browne's warm, expressive tone bringing Emma's vulnerability to life. The story is a slow-burn romance that's as much about the game of football as it is about the game of love. Dietz does an excellent job of weaving the two together, with each play on the field echoing the emotional stakes off it. My only critique is that at times, the pacing of the narration feels a bit too fast, rushing through some of the more emotional moments. But overall, this is a standout audiobook that's well worth a listen.
