I was immediately drawn into the world of Once upon a Midnight Clear. Michelle Miles' narration is exceptional, her voice weaving a spell that kept me listening long after I should have turned off my audiobook player. She masterfully differentiates characters, from the cunning and cruel Lady Tremaine to the sweet and spirited Ella. The pacing is spot on, building tension and anticipation, and the production quality is excellent. My only critique is that at times, the dialogue can feel a bit stilted, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise enchanting listen. If you're a fan of fairy tale retellings and enjoy immersive narration, this audiobook is a must-listen.
