Emmanuel Ingram and Wesleigh Siobhan's narration is a key component of this audiobook's success, effortlessly conveying the raw emotion and vulnerability that permeates every scene. From the opening pages, I was struck by the author's willingness to tackle tough topics – the weight of expectation, the fragility of relationships, and the crushing burden of regret. While I occasionally found myself wishing for a slightly faster pacing, particularly in the second half of the story, this minor quibble did little to detract from my overall experience. In fact, the audiobook's deliberate, unhurried pace only served to heighten the impact of the narrative's most pivotal moments, leaving a lasting impression on this listener.
