Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan have a banter that's as entertaining as any sitcom, and their ability to switch between accents and tones is impressive. The story moves at a steady pace, neither rushing nor lingering, allowing the characters and their relationship to develop naturally. I loved the way House explores the cultural differences between Jamal's urban upbringing and Serenity's royal life, adding depth to their connection. My only critique? I wish there was more of Jamal's backstory. But that's a small complaint in an otherwise engaging listen. This audiobook is perfect for anyone who enjoys a good romance with a side of laughter and a dash of drama.
