I absolutely devoured 'Pick Me' in just a few days, thanks in no small part to Patti Murin's fantastic narration. She captures Brooke's voice perfectly, balancing her sarcastic humor with moments of genuine emotion. The story moves at a brisk pace, with just the right amount of tension and banter to keep me hooked. I loved the unique setting of a pickleball court, which provided plenty of opportunities for hilarious misunderstandings and sweet moments. My only critique is that some secondary characters felt a bit one-dimensional, but that's a small quibble in an otherwise engaging listen.
