Polishing the Duke

I was immediately drawn into 'Polishing the Duke' by its charming and witty dialogue, expertly narrated by Hayden Coward. His ability to differentiate between characters, from the bewildered yet determined new duke to the feisty and resilient heroine, is truly commendable. The pacing is spot on, allowing the story to unfold naturally, and the production quality is excellent. However, I must admit, the initial reveal of the hero's new identity felt a tad rushed. That minor quibble aside, this audiobook is an absolute joy, offering a refreshing take on the classic rags-to-riches romance. I found myself eagerly anticipating each chapter, eager to see how these two unlikely lovers would navigate their new world together.
