As an editor, I was blown away by the skill and sensitivity with which Wesleigh Siobhan brought Syncere James to life on the page. Her narration is a masterclass in subtlety, conveying the full range of emotions and complexities that underlie the narrative without ever resorting to melodrama or over-the-top emotionalism. If I have any criticisms, it's that the pacing can sometimes feel a bit erratic, with certain scenes feeling slightly rushed and others feeling overly extended.
