I devoured 'Rafe' in one sitting, and I'm not ashamed to admit I teared up a few times. Bennett does an excellent job of balancing Rafe's tough hockey player persona with his vulnerability as he faces his father's illness. The chemistry between Rafe and Diem is palpable, and their banter is genuinely funny. However, I did find the resolution of Rafe's family drama a tad too neat. But that's a small critique for an otherwise engaging listen. Greenfield and Leigh's narration is top-notch, with Greenfield's voice alone worth the listen. The only downside is the lack of a proper epilogue, which left me wanting more of these lovable characters. Overall, 'Rafe' is a fantastic addition to the Arizona Vengeance series, and I highly recommend it to fans of quick, emotional romance with a sports backdrop.
